Thursday, June 26, 2008 was my last day of work at CBRE.  Grandmommy and I packed up and left the morning of June 28th.  We arrived in Connecticut late Sunday night, June 29th.  I started my first day at Colliers on July 7th.  And, due to a conversation I had with Katie, it was one year ago today that I posted my very first blog here on Wordpress.  (Thanks Katie!)  It is still to this day one of my favorite stories:  "What Kinda Sound DOES A Bat Make?

I have SO enjoyed this whole "bloggin' thing".  It's a funny thing...writing.  I am usually very quiet....usually HATE to tell a story to a group larger than two.  People who really know me, hear my ramblings all the time....can't shut me up. But to most I'm the quiet "awkward" shy girl in the corner who doesn't know what do with her hands.   With the blog, I've been able to share my stories and CT tales with so many people, on their own time. I think that's one of the reasons I like it so much. I can ramble on and you can choose whether or not you want to read it.  It's not instructive.  I get a kick out of all your comments (on the record and the private emails) and so enjoy following some of you with blogs as well.  Thanks for reading and commenting!

Here are my Top 5 Favorite Blogs of 2008-09:
