Our Pumpkins

This was Evan's pumpkin. Bless his heart, we started out trying to get him to make a Darth Vader pumpkin that was WAY too difficult. So, we had a lot of space to cover up...this giant face was the result. It turned out pretty cute!

This was my pumpkin. It didn't come out perfectly......if you can't tell what it is suppose to be, it's a person in a bed who is scared because there is a giant eye peering through the window.

This was David's REALLY GREAT pumpkin! It took a few power tools, a trip to the hardware store and the two perfect pumpkins, but it turned out SO GOOD! I'm hoping this one can make it to the Keene Pumpkin Festival next weekend! Ever had one of these days:

Our pumpkins would be mush by Halloween if we cut them now. Must be MUCH cooler up there ;)

It is cooler! But a good trick we read about....spray them with Clorox with Bleach bathroom cleaner. One carver tested 17 different "ways to preserve them" and it was by far the best way. Keep that mold away!
