A Walk In New Hampshire....

Saturday afternoon was spent in New Hampshire with Nancy and George and Diana and John. David's friend from Keene College, Adam's parents. Adam was an exchange student from England and spent a semester in Keene. He was in David's fraternity.  Then when David went to study in Ireland, he stayed over at their house for a week or so and toured England. They have stayed friends with the Oakes and have traveled back and forth over the years. They were in New England this month and stayed with Nancy and George a few days. We went up to visit.  We went on a hike (of course) and I got a few photos. Unfortunately they don't do justice to the colors, the smells, the sound of the rushing wind,etc. I don't have Jenny's flair for photography (wish you had been here to really "capture" it).  But never the less, here they are:

The Road Not Taken


Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
