The Drive Into Work
I know that I'm obsessing about the snow this morning, but there's just SO MUCH of it! I would love for you all in Texas to come and spend a day and see it...it's so pretty after it first falls and the sun of out and the sky is blue. The trees all sparkle. It's really pretty!
But it's a mess too. Here's the road where we first pull out from our neighborhood. You can't see it, but our little grocery store and Dunkin' Donuts is on the right. There are walls of snow on both sides. It's like living in Vermont or Maine!

Once we got out on larger road, the road was clear. The sun helped, I think. Trying to capture the beauty from a moving car isn't the best way, but I snapped a few photos.
Once on Route 2, the trees were just gorgeous! The blue and white....made you want to bust out into Winter Wonderland (Which of course, David did. He couldn't help himself).
Then back off the highway and onto the street where I work.....Wethersfield Ave. The roads were untouched here. We were slipping and sliding....terrible conditions. Hopefully they will plow today and the ride home will be much easier.
