Friday Night With the Fleuettes

Friday night David's friends, Remi and Kelly came to stay with us. They live in New Hampshire and went to college with David. They brought their three little girls with them, because Saturday morning they all had to go to a karate tournament in Connecticut that the two oldest girls were competing in. So, they came in Friday night for dinner and left bright and early, before breakfast, in the morning. It was a quick visit, so I had to think of a way to make the short visit memorable and fun for the girls. We decided to do a cook out and play outside.

The menu was a simple one:
Hamburgers and hotdogs with all the fixins'

Cole slaw, corn salad and fruit

Chocolate cake with baby m&m's for dessert

I set up the deck table with paper and crayons, pinwheels and games. They loved the swing set and the big yard to run around in.

I bought some sparklers for them to play with after dark. I think the girls had a good time.

I know we had a good time! We'd love to have them come and visit again anytime.
