The Calm Before The Storm

Last night was the calm before the storm. Nothing was moving....not even a tree branch. The flag across the street wasn't moving. It was still. Calm. Eerily so. So, we enjoyed a dinner out on the grill and games on the patio. What else could you do?

David put most things in the shed. The grill is in our living room this morning. Church has been cancelled. We have peanut butter and granola bars galore. David bought a new flashlight. And it looks like it's been downgraded already, so it may just be a whole lotta rain. Well, the hardware and grocery stores got a boost in sales this week anyway. It's cloudy here this morning, but not a drop yet. I don't think it will really hit until late tonight and into Sunday morning. I'll keep you posted!
