Dallas Cowboys Stadium
Sharon got us AMAZING tickets to go see the Giants play the Cowboys on October 28th. She also got us a parking pass ($75) and stadium tour passes ($27.50 a piece). We were in Section C109, Row E. ($340 a piece to sit in those seats!) THANK YOU SHARON!! You gave us an experience we could have never afforded to do ourselves. We had so much fun!!
I don't have the energy to blog the game ... it was that exciting. We were losing, we were winning, we were losing, we almost won the game. We lost in the final seconds. We were all exhausted after all the ups and downs. I haven't seen a Cowboy game that exciting in a long time. It was so fun to see it in person.
We left for the stadium around 12:30pm or so to see the 3:15pm game. I wanted to take it all in and didn't want to be in a hurry. As we pulled up and drove by all the tailgaters I started to get more and more excited. Balloons, music, tents, food, excited fans, a sea of blue and silver. It was a GORGEOUS day and everyone was taking advantage of the afternoon.
- The Cowboys Stadium site covers 73 total acres.
- The overall site encompasses 140 total acres
- The stadium is 3 million square.
- The steel was imported from Luxembourg. No Pittsburgh steel in this stadium!
Jason Garrett and Babe Laufenberg before the game.
Advertising EVERYWHERE!
The big screen did not disappoint. 30 million pixels (That's approximately 2,000 - 50" TVs.)
Fun to go with Jayme and Michael! We walked around the corner and there they were.
Kenny Chesney in Jerry's box, talking to Jerry's daughter.
We toured the stadium the next day. Here are a few photos I got:
This was our section - great seats!
There was a lot of art. The art tour was actually a separate tour and we didn't get a chance to take that one. But we passed some great pieces and beautiful photos.
And we got to tour the locker rooms too.
Oh it was so fun. So many memories. Thank you again Sharon, we can't thank you enough!
