Sunday Afternoon Walk
Sunday afternoon, after a busy week, David and I decided to go check out a new part of the Airline Trail in Andover, CT. We parked in a lot behind the Museum of Andover History. They had all sorts of old farming machines outside their building.
At the beginning of the trail was this kousa dogwood. I don't think I've seen one before. The flowers were just gorgeous.
Then the reason David picked this particular trail: the covered bridge.
We stopped for a minute and spoke to this guy. He takes care of abused and mistreated horses. He rides them for 5 miles at a time and has been all over the trails. He said the Bolton trails were his favorite, so we want to try that part of the trail next.
This was a gorgeous trail though. It was nice to get out and enjoy the bright summer day.
