Easter Sunday

We had a nice day on Easter Sunday. The day started off with breakfast before church. Mom had an Easter basket on each place setting. So fun!

Then we went to church and brunch at Hattie's. David had to try the chicken and waffles - yet another Southern dish he'd never had. And then a little "Easter sight-seeing". Everything is bigger in Texas and we got the Easter photos to prove it! First we took David to see the Big Easter Eggs:

Then, being Easter and all, we stopped to see the big Jesus statue. It's a huge sculpture that sits behind a church in a garden area. Quite impressive.
