Colonial Day

Saturday afternoon we went to Hebron Colonial Days. Several members of our church were there working the festivities.

Fred Brehant goes to our church. His father still works with the steel at 88.  We watched him work.

So, of course, I had to have a hook! Now I need to find the perfect place for it.

There were old fashioned games for the kids (big and small) to play including corn hole and catching/throwing hoops with sticks. Simple games.

Steve, one of our elders and dear friend of David's, was a school teacher and Dennis Reiter, Associate Pastor of a local Baptist Church that has been supporting us was the preacher. They gave tours of the school room and talks on the education and faith practices back then.  (Pay no attention to the completely modern stroller in the background.)
