Winter Storm Juno
Oh boy ... here we go!
Work has been closed tomorrow with an anticipation of a late morning opening on Wednesday. The storm is coming in tonight. We have washed laundry, gone grocery shopping, and filled up with gas for the car and the generator. We are taking hot showers tonight in case it's our last for a while. We are charging our electronics. They are saying power outages are possible with the heavy winds. We've done everything we can think of ..... now it's all over but the waiting.
I'm heading home in about a half hour. Hopefully it's not bad heading home.
I'll keep the blog posted with photos as long as we have power. Otherwise, I'll be on my iphone only - emails, texts or Facebook news feed (but not Facebook inbox emails - I don't do messenger).
Here are a few photos I took this weekend. This is the starting point we are working with this afternoon. Note you can still see the mailbox and the top trunk of the tree:

This was heavy, thick, wet snow. Great for snowmen .... bad for power lines. Most of the heavy snow has fallen to the ground by now.
Here's hoping we don't have to live this storm again:
